Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Origin 2019b, 9.6.5.169 (Academic)

I want to perform a nonlinear fit with three independent variables. When I use "nonlinear surface fit", I can define the equation. The dialog tells me, that three independent variables are ok (four wouldn't work). But when I want to define the data input, I can only choose 3 data sets (two independent and one dependent variable).

Do I miss something? Is there another fitting tool except "nonlinear surface fit" to perform the task? It is unfortunately no linear equation, but of the type r=A*x+B*xy+C*xy^2z.

Thank you very much for your help!

Please use Nonlinear Curve Fitting tool (menu: Analysis-> Fitting -> Nonlinear Curve Fitting...).
