Origin Ver. and Service Release: OriginPro 2020b (64-bit) 9.7.5.184

Operating System: Windows 10

Hello,

I would like to recover some data that are only available in a plot in a PowerPoint file (.pptx). I've been trying to find a way to import into Origin somehow and access its 'raw' data (actual values) but haven't figured it out yet. As I'm using a trial version and have no possibility of buying the license to use it forward, I'm in a hush to make it work.

I would be grateful to read your suggestions.

If it is an embedded Origin plot, you should be able to double click and access the actual graph and get the raw data from there.

If not, you might have to do the digitizer thing.

Should this double click work using LibreOffice Impress or it works just in PowerPoint?

EDIT: okay I got it. Guess it really doesn't work on LibreOffice.

No, it only works on Powerpoint, which is a shame, as LibreOffice would have been better with that function.

I don't have LibreOffice in my system. But you guys can try manually creating an OLE object and link it to an Origin ogg/oggu file.
See if that would work.
