Greetings!

Color Manager offers several color interpolation methods: Linear, Spline, B-Spline, and Akima Spline. However a color is coded by RGB triplet.

How does each interpolation method work in terms of handling R, G, and B values?

Thank you.

Hi AKazak,

The interpolation methods are same with that of Color Editor app, https://www.originlab.com/FileExchange/details.aspx?fid=317

The algorithm is similar with that of the X-Function "interp1xy", see
https://www.originlab.com/doc/X-Function/ref/interp1xy

Thanks,
Shirley

Dear Shirley,

What does interp1xy take as input: each color channel (R,G or B) separately or somehow else?

Thank you.
