OriginPro 2021 (64-bit) 9.8.0.200 Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1
Greetings!
I make a graph, zoom to the target region of the plot, call and place Quick Fit Gadget. However, if I Output from the gadget the zoom settings reset with axes Rescale.
How do I lock the axes settings?
Thank you.

Hi,
I cannot see the problem here. Could you please send your project to me so I can try it? You can send it to tech@originlab.com.
Thanks, Amanda OriginLab Technical Service

Change the Rescale option to "Normal" should fix the problem.

Dear Amanda,
I attach the project to this post.https://my.originlab.com/ftp/forum_and_kbase/Images/QFG%20in%20Sparkline%20Graph.opju
Please note that the issue comes up after 2nd call of Output command. Can you reproduce the issue?

Thank you for the suggestion. Is this normal behavior?

I think that is how "Auto" is supposed to behave, see https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/AxesRef-Scale?f=dl#Rescale
Usually graphs created from menu/toolbar have axis Rescale Mode set to "Normal".
The graph you have in the project file is the "Sparkline" of a column, which by default has the "Auto" setting.

By the way, how do I define the default axis setting for a sparkline chart?

Sparklines are based on graph templates in the Origin EXE folder.
To customize sparkline plot, double-click on the sparkline to open the graph. Then right-click on graph window title bar and choose Save Template As...
Save the template to you UFF so it will be chosen before the one in the EXE folder.

Thank you for the suggestion. How should I name the template file to override the standard Origin template for sparklines?

Hi Andrey, Double-click to open, customize graph, then right-click on the title bar of the graph window and select Save Template As... The dialog that opens will have the appropriate template name pre-filled. When you click OK to save, you will be prompted to save the modified copy in your User Files Folder. Then this modified version from your UFF will be used for sparklines.

Got it! Now I see the correct template name (sparkline_label) that is recognized by Origin. Thank you.
