OriginPro 2021 (64-bit) 9.8.0.200
Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1

Greetings!

I want to compare two histograms by using the old trick of different Box Pattern:

I set Box color for Histogram 1 to White and for Histogram 2 to None.
However I still see the gridlines behind one of the plots.

How do I achieve the desired result as per below?

Thank you.

Can you set both histogram fill color to white?

Yes, but it turns off the transparency required to see the overlap within 2.4-2.5 and 2.6-2.7.

One workaround is to calculate the minimum of corresponding two columns and plot 3 groups of columns set with different patterns.

Yes, it is.
However, in the case of three overlapping columns, it would be quite laborious.
