Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2021 (64-bit)9.8.0.200 (Student Version)

Operating System: Windows 64-bit

Hello all,

I'm trying to create a reaction coordinate diagram to display the energies of a reaction. There was a previously mentioned post that described this problem back in 2017 (https://my.originlab.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26067) and I was able to follow their advice, but I'm still having some trouble. I use the stacked column plot, but I want to customize the colors more.

I'm wondering how to take the black dotted lines connecting the bars and make them the colors of the horizontal lines they connect to. Or if anyone else has a better way to plot this type of diagram, I'm open to suggestions.

Best,
Hunter

We don't support customizing the connections lines that connects stacked columns yet. I will jira it.

For now, maybe u can reorganize data as follows so u can customize line style piece by piece.

Thanks, Snow

BTW, the stacked column way also works in Origin 9.8.5 but not in the version you use 9.8.0.
See image below, there is Line color row on Group tab in 9.8.5 but not in 9.8.0.

Thanks, Snow
