Can you attach a screenshot showing the settings in the Export Graph dialog?

Hi,

I couldn't reproduce the issue. Can I know
1. How did you tell the width of the exported image file is 3.0cm?
2. Which version of Origin do you use?
3. What image file format do you use?

James

When I open that exported png file on word, the picture format shows the width is 3 cm (very tiny).
I am using Origin 2022, exporting image as png.

Can you change your graph page size to 3.54 inch and export using the Simpler

File > Export Graph

dialog? You can change your graph page size from Plot Details >Print Dimensions tab.

Below is the simple export graph dialog I see, but I cannot see the plot details (and print dimensions) tab you are referring to?

Thank you for helping out,
Neena

Format > Page (F2)

Or double-click on the edge of the graph.

We thought user would set up their graph with the correct page size and adjust everything to be exactly the way they want and then just export it as is, and with PNG to just adjust the DPI.

Thanks for details, I tried changing dimensions there to 3.54 inch width, however my observation stays the same; i.e. the exported graph is very tiny 3 cm width. I have no idea where I am going wrong.

Hi Nina,

There was an issue of Origin not setting the DPI correctly in the exported file. We have fixed the issue in our recent 2022 SR1 release. So please download the installer from our website (click the Try Origin for Free button located on website top right) and update your 2022 to SR1.
