My experience shows that impMSExcel does not remember recent input files here when I paste paths from Windows clipboard:

Hi Andrewy,
I couldn't reproduce it.
BTW, is there any reason you started to use ImpMSExcel instead of the Excel Connector?
We are not planning to improve ImpMSExcel any further just FYI.

Dear Snow,
I tend to use ImpMSExcel since I do no need live connection to the source XLSX file.
To reproduce the issue please copy path to the target XLS(X) file to Windows clipboard, paste it to "File name:" field, click Add File(s) and then OK.
Then open ImpMSExcel next time and click the arrow to open the list of recent files.
Notice that the pasted file path is missing in the list.

Hi Andrey,
Maybe there is a limit of how many items show in File Name dropdown list.
I have 20 items there and i can see the issue, no matter path the file path there or pick a file by clicking.
I also see many duplicate file names listed here.
I jiraed it in
ORG-24005

Dear Snow,
Yes, exactly.
To my understanding the recent's list should work like: the most recent, first (at the top) goes in, while the oldest, last (in the bottom) goes out.
