Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2022b (64-bit) SR1 9.9.5.171
Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2
Hi,
I create projects last week with Origin 2022, importing data from matlab with matlab_connector. then I installed Origin2022b... when reopening the projects, the connection to data is not working anymore despite matlab files are still existing and Origin shows correct path. A pop-up window indicates that something is wrong with connectors (I don't remember exact sentence and I can't see it anymore) and ask to close and restart Origin. Doing do doesn't change anything to the issue.
Would you have any solution to reactivate these connectors ?
Thanks a lot for your help

I tried Matlab Connector in 2022b and it works fine.
Is your Matlab Connector the latest version?
On right side of Origin workspace, there is an Apps Gallery. Go to Connectors tab. Mouse over the Matlab Connector to check the version. red dot shows if it's not up to date.
Or right click the connector and choose Uninstall. Then click the Add Apps button on All tab. Download Matlab Connector again.
If it's specific to certain matlab file, could you share the file?
Thanks, Snow |

Hi,
sorry, my mistake, unexpected directory renaming...
The error message is : "Error was encountered during import using a data connector. Auto import will be suspended until Origin is restarted."
thanks

U mean your mat file directory was renamed?
I tried it and got a red broken connector icon. No error message. I can click it and choose Source... to correct the path.
Let me know if there are still issues or you are all set.
Best, Snow |

Yes, The mat file directory was renamed. I can update it also by clicking on connector icon and I did this for all files linked to the same data file. The error message (appearing when Origin opens and try to load data) is indeed not very clear, I thought it was much complex than a basic path issue... Everything is fixed now. Thanks |
