Hello to all,
I have a problem that you might be able to help me with. The background is that I have carried out a measurement campaign and for this, a sample was taken every 12 hours. I would like my plot to show 2 x-axes, one that shows the date and one that shows the sample number. So far the plot looks like this:
The 3 layers result from the columns marked in black:
In column A1(X) are the sample names that I would like to have as 2 axis above or below the plot. It should be noted that the sample number fits the time resolution of B(X2). So I have to tell the programme somehow to plot 2 axes at the time resolution (I have scanned this) and then the values from column A(X1) to match column B(X2). I hope I was able to explain my problem clearly.

I guess you want Double X plot.
Are there any relation between sample column and date column.

But not sure which case matches your situation. Maybe you can create a ticket and send your project so we can try it.

Thanks to the link, I had the idea of possibly selecting a different X via layer management, but unfortunately, that didn't work. Furthermore, it was not possible for me to create the graph myself, because the suggested app "Double-Y Toolbar" did not take over the date, among other things. Furthermore, the download of the zip file mentioned in the blog was aborted. And since I do the things on my work computers, I can't get around the problem either, unfortunately.

U can also choose Insert: New Layer (Axes): Top X to add a mew layer with only top axis show. Then add one plot against Sample in that layer.
Then hide the plot so only top axis shows with sample x as tick labels. But it will not match the plots against Date time exactly.
We may need to look at your data to see how to solve it.
