Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2023b
Operating System: Win11

Hey everyone!
I'm struggeling with the newest origin version. In our old version, we simply had to click on "set column values" and could type in our own formula - in our case we need it to recalculate sensor data from voltage to resistance with a few costum manipulations - and I cannot do that in the new version. It does not allow me to type anything in the boxes and I cannot just take a formula of the catalogue because it isn't what I need. The box also does not allow me to copy or insert anything. I saw that I can select user created formulas, but additionally, I do not know how to create a new costum formula. Does anyone have a solution for that? Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Maybe you were trying to use formula on an imported column, instead of adding a new column. There is no change in the new version in this area. If you want to change the values in an imported file, you need to either remove the data connector, or click the connector icon and choose "Unlock Imported Data". The best way is to add a new column so the imported data is unchanged and your calculated data column is on the right of the imported data.

Also, why use "Set Column Values", when there is Fx row where you can directly type in the formula?
