Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2018
Operating System: Win 11

I am attempting to overlay one graph on top of another as a second layer. However, I keep encountering the error message: 'The specified layer is too small to be acceptable.' Despite the second layer's size seemingly sufficient, this error persists. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Is it a problem on this graph only?

You can choose Format: Layer...
Choose 2nd layer on the left panel.
Go to Link Axes Scales to set Link to 1.
If you want x axis to be exactly the same as the 1st X, u can check Straight (1:1)
Then go to Size tab. Set Units to be % of Linked Layer.
Set Left and Top to be 0
Set Width and Height to be 100
so they exactly overlap.

For the 2nd layer, you can go to axis dialog to set the left axis to be hidden and show right axis and tick labels.

Thanks, Snow
