Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:
I have a question about deconvolutions with the second derivative. When I perform the deconvolution, I mark the peaks and change some data, I get a message that says: "Parameters A_1, A_2, A_3, A_6, A_7 are not properlyinitialized. Please check and correct their value," but even after correcting the marked points, the error keeps appearing: Is there anyone who has ever received this message or knows how to solve the problem?

Could you provide your project file and the steps to see the issue? Thanks.

Sure. With the data of the y-axis of the table I make a graph and from there I make the deconvolution with the second derivative (I mark the peaks and mark the method of the second derivative and Savitzsky-Golay where I put as polynomial order 3 and points of view 9) then I go from Gaussian to Lorentz, mark the off center and area boxes and replace the value of fwh with 8.55554 and then that's when I get the error because there is no data in area. I'm new to this program so I'm sorry if I don't explain myself very well. If the file has not been uploaded you tell me and I try again. Thank you very much in advance

You can click the Initialize Parameters button to reset the area values. Or you need to manually set the values.

But how do I know what values to put when the area or fwhm value is blank? I mean, I can try to adjust the area by trying values such as 2 or 5 and that makes me change the 8,55554 value of fwhm (I'm not supposed to change that value because it's the one we've used for the other deconvolutions and I haven't had any problems but it's like the version of origin has been changed on my computer or something like that and since then I've been getting this kind of problem) and by doing that i dont even get the same values as you, I get it to fit well but the values are different.

Can you fix the FWHM for all peaks, then click the reinitialize button?

Yes, you can enter the area values in the parameters table and click the Chi-Square button (located to the right of the Reinitialize button) to check the result.
