I’m pretty new to Origin (using Origin 2024b) and currently working on a dataset where I need to plot different line graphs for subsets of data. Each subset has a different range, so I want the X and Y axis limits to auto-adjust based on the min/max values of each subset when I switch them using a drop-down list or filter.
Right now, I'm manually adjusting the axis each time, which is super time-consuming. I was wondering:

Is there a way to link the axis limits to worksheet columns so they update dynamically?

Would I need to use a script (LabTalk or Python) for this?

Or is there a built-in Origin feature or template that can do this more easily?

Any tips or example projects would be hugely appreciated! Just trying to get more efficient with plotting before I dive deeper into analysis.

Hello,

There is Rescale mode in graph. If you set it to Auto, when data changes, graph axis will auto rescale.

Single click blank area within graph to see the layer level mini toolbar.
On the 2nd row, the 3rd button from the right is the Auto Rescale button. U can click it to turn it on.

BTW, in Origin 2025 we added Graph Slicer (filter) on graph so that you can change filter condition in graph instead of in worksheet.
Also same worksheet can have different graphs with different slicers.
