Origin Pro 2025, Windows 10

Hi,

I have plotted my data in a histogram, or rather, I have used a histogram with labels. I now need to insert the mean value and standard deviation, but unfortunately I don't know how to do this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Some questions:

Did you plot histogram from raw data or summarized data.
Do you mean add vertical lines of mean, mean-sd, mean+sd on the histogram?
Could you share your opju so we can see how your data is organized and how you'd like to add mean+sd on histogram.

Thanks, Snow

See this video of how to add multiple reference lines in Origin 2025b.

Maybe it's what you are looking for.
Plot histogram from raw data. When adding reference lines, choose X radio to add statistics. Then replace x to y in expression so that it's getting statistics of plotted data.

Thanks, Snow
