 Problems with linear fit function

Good morning for you all !
I am in troubles with my Origin.
The linear fit´s window sometimes disapear ! After select the right columns ( x and y ), i try to select the linear fit, or even polynomial fit, in "tools" menu, but the windows of this functions doesn´t appear. My origin version is 5.0.
What can i do ??

The only solution I can image is to re-install Origin..... V5.0 is really a little age-old.

Ok, Zach !
I will try to install other version ( maybe 7.5 ). But i have a big project made with the old version 5.0. Can I open this project with other version ?? I am afraid of occurs some kind of bug when we merge versions.

Theoretically we have made it be compatible with older version. There will be no problem for opening a opj file created with eariler version.
