Is it possible to control the font used by the script window and windows
containing worksheet scripts? Script windows are often difficult to read at
higher (1024x768 in my case) resolutions when using the standard font. This
seems a bit strange as similar windows (eg. "set column values") appear to use
a slightly larger font for the script section and are perfectly readable. The
font seems to be a windows system font, although smaller in size than that
used in other applications such as "Telnet".

Any ideas?

Ian.

Changing the Font used in the Script Window

The Font that is used in the Script Window (as well as the Worksheet Script text box) is determined by the value of the Keyword FontNumber in the [Font] section of the ORIGIN.INI file. This value is zero by default, but it can be set to values from 0 to 6.
Unfortunately, there is no way to preview (that I know of - any Windows Font gurus out there?) what each will look like. You must exit Origin, change the value of FontNumber and save the ORIGIN.INI file, then restart Origin to see the result. The results can vary from one system to another. On my system, a value of 4 gives the largest font.

I have the same problem, but changing the number in Origin.ini does not do anything? any idea?
I run Origin 7.5 under cross-over, so that i can use it with linux.
Thanks a lot

Marco,

Are you sure you're editing Origin.ini on your User path? Origin.ini on the program path has nothing to do with it.
