Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7 SR4
Operating System: win XP

Dear All

I a making some scatter plots and I would like to have axis tick at the start and end of my axis (both x and Y), which is the first and last data point. To try and do this I go to axis properties window. The in the custom tick label tab i go the the special tick area. I then click the radio button for "show" for both the "at axis begin" and at "Axis end". Now what happen is that I get an tick at the start at the axis but not at the end. Any idea why? any idea how to fix it?

Hi Lars:

Not sure why you can't show the end tick, maybe you can try to update your Origin first? The latest patch is SR6. (Help : Check for Updates...)

Whether or not the end tick label shows up depends on whether or not there is a minor tick nearby. I can't figure out the exact relationship but if you increase the number of minor tick labels eventually the tick label at the end will appear.
