Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 8 pro sr1
Operating System: xp pro
I've made an analysis template. If I save it as a workbook template, I get an .otw file that is 579 Ko
If I save the project with nothing but that workbook (no data imported), I get a .opj file that is 21 Mo. I've checked there is no loose dataset or anything.
So why my .opj is that big ?

Hi Antoine,
In order for "Analysis Template" to work, you need to save your workbook object (OGW) using the "Save->Window As" menu item, or save entire project as an OPJ.
When you save a workbook as template (OTW), even if there is no data, many other things like embedded graphs, linked tables etc are all cleared, so OTW in general is not appropriate for use as analysis template.
As for the significant size difference, that could depend on how much embedded information you had in your workbook - can you send us your OPJ so we could take a look?

Nothing is embedded.
I've sent the otw file in incoming ftp folder, as Force-Vitesse.otw.
You can simply open it and save the project.

Hi Antoine,
Thanks for uploading the template (OTW). When we open the template we see that your data source sheets Sprint 1, Sprint 2 etc have over 100,000 rows. When the template is saved that just holds information that these many rows exist in the sheet. But when the template is opened, space is created for that many rows thus increasing the size.
So you could do the following:
1> Start again with your OPJ where you had all things working
2> Go to each data source sheet and use the "Worksheet->Clear Worksheet" menu item. This will clear all data and reset the size to the default size, but keep all our operation information intact
3> Save the book as an OGW or the entire project as an OPJ and use that as the "analysis template" instead of saving OTW

My empty project is now much more light.
As long as you have my template, could you explain me why some cols don't have that green lock (like in sheet "Sprints", cols 2,3,7,8,12,13) while they are filled automatically with set col value ?

Hi Antoine,
I don't see a "sprints" sheet in the OTW you uploaded. There is "sprint1", "sprint2" etc but they have only three cols...
Can you e-mail us the OTW + data files and steps on which data file to put into which sheet, so we can try your exact procedure?
