Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): 7 or 7.5
Operating System: Windows Vista

Hi All

i'v been using Origin on Vista for the past 3 month and everything worked fine (yes! i'v set up compatibility to windows XP).
today when trying to work with origin 7 or 7.5 (it happened with both of them) the program opens, but when trying to load a project or import data or any other action i get a message origin stopped working and the program shuts down.

any idea how can i resolved this problem?

In Version 7.0 (all Service Releases) and in Version 7.5 (Service Releases 0 - 5), a sudden problem like this can sometimes be due to a change in your default printer driver. There are some printer drivers that are not compatible with Version 7.0 and Version 7.5 SR0 - SR5.

The first thing I would suggest is you download an updated DLL that fixes this Origin/printer driver incompatibility issue. The updated DLL is available from the following OriginLab Technical Support Kbase item:

http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?s=12&lm=65&pid=1004

This Kbase item is applicable to both Version 7.0 and 7.5.
If you are running Version 7.5 SR6, then you already have this updated DLL.

But in your (raananc0) specific case ... I'm wondering if the problem is a licensing problem, as I know one of your Group serial numbers that you have recently licensed has already expired. I'll email you separately on this.
