Origin Version (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin 7.5 SR6
Operating System:Windows XP

I am using the pick-peaks tool to find the peak position (x,y).
The pick-peaks tool seems to look for the maximum/minimum point in the dataset. But, I want the best position for the peak with interpolation. See the picture, how can I do?

Hi,

You can try one of these tools from our file exchange area:
http://originlab.com/FileExchange/details.aspx?fid=68
http://originlab.com/FileExchange/details.aspx?fid=82
These tools I think assume the data is normally distributed...

You could otherwise fit your data with a suitable function.

Also you can try the new version 8.0 - demo available on our download area, and such peak integration tool is built into the product.
