In Origin 8 I want to be able to fit some imported data with a nonlinear fit. What I find is that when the data I import include headers (that end up in the yellow boxes at the top of the columns) that the curve fit dialog does not recognize my data. It is only if I delete the yellow header boxes that I can get the curve fitting to work. Is it possible to fix this so that I can keep my headers and fit the data?

Hi,

I test your prolem in Origin 8 SR3, but I cann't reproduce it.

Would you mind sending your OPJ file to us (tech@originlab.com)?
So we can follow it further.

Thanks
