Hi, everyone. I'm using 8.0SR4

from this posting : http://www.originlab.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7391 ,
I could know how to use "Before Formula Script"

In ver 7.5, I had been able to learn following Origin C code from this forum, to change "Set Value"

void setform( string strColName, string strFormula)
{

Worksheet wks = Project.ActiveLayer();
wks.Columns(strColName).SetFormula(strFormula);
wks.Columns(strColName).ExecuteFormula();

}

Thanksfully, it also works in ver8.0.

Ok, then, can I change "Before Formula Script" with Origin C?

In Help File, I couldn't find function like "SetBeforeFormula" which can change it.

If it exists, please tell me,
or if possible, please tell me how to make that function.

Regards.

Hoyoung.

I appologize that we didn't properly document this. I have now updated this wiki link:

http://ocwiki.originlab.com/index.php?title=OriginC:DataObject-SetFormula#Remark

The Example1 code now shows both the usage of Before Forumla Script and Auto Update.

The wiki has more updated documentation and will be used to generate the chm help file for the next SR or version.
