Origin Ver. and SR (Select Help-->About Origin): 7.5 SR6
Operating System: WinXP SP2

Hi there,

it is very useful to work with the exist command. But I did not find any possibility to apply it to sub-folders inside an Origin project.
How could that be done?

Imagine I import data in a worksheet and depeding on what is in the header I would like to create a subfolder or, if it already exists, place the worksheet there.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance,

Uli

Sorry, I don't see a simple way in Origin 75 to do this. You will need to add your own Origin C function.

If you have Origin 8, then it is very simple:
// assuming %A is the path you need to test

string strTemp="%A";
if(strTemp.IsPath()==0)
type "need to create subfolder";

See this link for all the string functions in Origin 8:
