I have a worksheet with 2 columns (representing a mass spectrum), X (atomic mass) and Y(counts). The number of rows goes from 0 - 8192. Now I would like to reduce the number of channels in the Y vs X plot from 8192 to 512 by re-binning, Is that possible in ORIGIN ? I have tried the data manipulation procedures .....column sorting etc without any luck.

I have included the counts vs atomic mass plots to illustrate what I am trying to avoid; the 'thinning out' as it were of counts for a particular mass
