Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:Window XP SP2

I have successfully pushing the data to Origin and a baseline implmentation.

However, I can't get the FFT done by executing the script:"fft.forward()"

I need to subtract the raw data by the baseline?
Is there anyway, I can execute it through labview?

Hi jtteo,

I've tried with Origin 8, LabVIEW 7.1 under Window XP SP3 and found that the function "fft.forward()" can be executed through labVIEW.

So could you give us more details about the problem, such as which version of Origin you are using? You can also send your VI and data through

http://www.originlab.com/www/company/qform.aspx?s=1&

We will try to help you solve the problem as soon as possible.

And if you are using Origin 8, you may try to load an analysis template to perform FFT. For more information, please refer to

http://wiki.originlab.com/~originla/wiki/index.php?title=LabVIEW:Analysis_Template

You can find the VI from Origin Installation folder \Samples\Automation Server\LabVIEW

Best regards,
Vincent Liu

Hey, I went through the thread as well as the links given above. I found them to be very useful. Now I am more knowledgeable regarding the origin version. Thanks a lot for sharing this information and clearing my doubts. I will come here back again to check out the updates.
