Probably a very straightforward problem:

I'm trying to create an axis break. On this axis I have time/date plotted from 20th October 08 to 9th December 08 and would like the break to span from the 1st - 9th November. However, when I do this a break position of 50% is applied. I'd like the scale either side of the break to be the same and do not care of about the position per se. How do I do this?
