Hi there,
I didn't find a topic like this, so I'd like to ask a simple question. I use Origin 8G Pro (even more versions available), Windows Vista or XP and I try to export files out of Mathcad.
The export is no problem, i get a .csv file. Then I import the file into Origin an plot it, all no problem. But now I want to change the data in the Mathcad file, I export it again, everything works fine, and now I want Origin to refresh the data in the data sheet. I couldn't find a Origin intern function. Is there a possibility do realize that at all? It may be possible that Origin refreshes at restart, everything possible.

Greetings

Tobias

Need to see your code.
Simplest is to use Reimport. The graph should always automatically update when data changed.

See this

Hi,

I want to use this "reimport" function too. But it doesnt work. It comes up a error message,
which says: "Reimporting is not supported for this file-type."

Im importing a user defined file-type for my business. It contains a Headerline, with all numbers of channels,
and below the measured values seperated with space " ".

Can I get the reimport function to work for me? Or does a reimport function exist in OriginC ?

Really?
I think I need more time to figure out things.
I've tried "reimport" but it doesn't work.
