Hello,

Two questions:

1) It works fine when I use Cross lines to get the profiles of the image, but when I chose 'Arbitrary line', the horizontal and vertical projection worksheets become empty. Does anybody know how to deal with it?

2) Is it possible to get a profile along the line without any horizontal and vertical projections?

Thanks

Operating System: Windows XP

Make sure you have the latest updates for your version. You might be having a printer driver conflict if your version is less than 7.5 SR6.

The Horizontal and Vertical projections come from worksheets which you can use to construct the actual 3D curve. It isn't clear what you want exactly.

Right click on the Horizontal(Vertical) projection curve and select Go To Horizontal(Vertical).
With both sheets available you could plot the B column (Z values) against the X or Y values or just plot against row, but the most accurate representation is had by copying column A from the Horizontal sheet to a new sheet column A, then copy column A from the Vertical sheet to the new sheet column B and finally copy column B from either Horizontal or Vertical (they are the same values) to the new sheet and a new column C set as Z. You can then plot C(Z) as a 3D Trajectory plot to see the exact slice.
