Hi,

I'm trying to add a new inset graph, and I want to then offset the graphs within that inset graph. However I cant seem to get the option.

I get a similar problem when I create a single plot from one dataset then add another set and try to offset them. Only by adding more than one data set (thereby grouping them?) can I get it to stack the plots.

Also the plots I'm trying to offset are within the same layer (which was an issue someone on here kindly solved before)

Thanks!

Toby

The Offset options ( on the Stack tab at the Layer level of Plot Details ) only applies to Grouped plots. When you add an Inset Graph with Data, the plots are not Grouped even if the original data was, so you must Group them before applying any Offset options.

To Group data already plotted:
Right-click on the Layer icon (the numbers in the upper left of a graph) for the layer you wish to group data.
Select Layer Contents.
Select all the datasets you wish to group in the Layer Contents list and click the Group button.
Click OK.
Then select Format : Layer from the menu and go to the Stack tab to set your Offset options.
