Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:

Hello,

I am new to DSC data analysis and am currently trying to determine which model best fits my protein unfolding curve. I have been trying to fit my data to the Two-State Model and have been getting decent Chi^2 values but my +- Delta H is rather high. My question is how do I know which model is the best fit for my data and can anyone suggest any further readings on model fitting/???
Thanks

Hi:

The software cannot decide what's the best model for you, but help you to make a decision. Here is some general criterion for diagnose a model. It comes from Origin 80 Help document. You cannot found all of the values in Origin 50, so I suggest to update your Origin. Maybe you can download a demo to have a try?

Thanks
Larry
