I have just upgraded from OriginPro 7 to OriginPro 8. The new version will for some reason not let me write (for angstrom) in any axis labels. It keeps on converting it into this funny looking exclamation mark, I dont know if it is some sort of an arabian letter.
Have anybody else ever experienced this and/or is able to help me.
The "axis labels" in your question means axis title? If so, you can double click on the axis label to enter the edit mode. Then use Ctrl + M on your keyboard to bring up the Symbol Map dialog. Choose the symbol you want and click Insert button.
