Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): V8.0.63.988 SR6 Operating System:XP SP3
I am trying to make my graphs the correct size for publication, but Origin is giving me a hard time. I've set my page size to the correct dimensions and I need to fit the plots in that space nicely. Whenever I try to make the plot itself a little bigger, the font of the scales, axis labels, axes, and lines and text I've placed on top all grows enormously. However, the font size value displayed in the toolbar stays the same.
In fact, if I copy and paste a plot as another layer on a graph, the font does the same thing when I just try to move the plot to the correct position, whether I do it by dragging or just with the cursor keys.

I've also tried saving the correct size as a theme, but for some reason that makes the plot not square, and when I move an edge to make it square again, the font goes crazy. |

Hi:
Too keep the actual font size, you can bring up the Plot Detail setting for that layer and fix the scale factor as 1:

Thanks Larry |
