When I do the curve fitting for the data set on an analysis template as in the first picture, everything is fine.
But when I import or put in a new data set file into the same analysis template, I get this error: 'fit may have converged cannot find direction to change parameters to reduce chi-sqr'

However, if I recalculate it, everything is fine. I would like to obtain the results without recalculating manually. Even when I switch it to auto, I get the same error. Please help.

Hi Franhofer,
Between those two screenshots, there is obvious difference in the function. Did you change the function when you import your new data??
In addition, could you send your data and template to us through the page:http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Support&pid=752 . So we can analyze this problem further.

Best Regards
Alex

I just solved the problem. It appeared to be with the auto parameter initialisation. Thanks.
