Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.5.1
Operating System: win 7
.........
I am doing NLFit by calling a custom made fitting routin. I usually run it on multiple existing datasets (in a project) through batch processing.
...
Question is : If it is already running, can I call the same NLFIT routine to do batch processing on some other datasets in another project ? Or it will mess things up as it is already working on one of the projects ?

Hi:

If you opened two Origin sessions, then I think it's OK. The batch processing dialog just requires you specify the analysis template, and the Origin will make a copy of the template in each session. It will not affect the other session you are running.

Thanks
