Has anyone used the software in a chemistry lab? I instruct general chemistry and inorganic chemistry and wanted to know how good the software was for use with potentiometry, spectrophotometry for concentration determination, conductivity measurements, and other routine applications in a general chemistry lab. Your feedback is important for taking a decision.

Dear Suella,

Sorry for that I'm not in your field, but I wonder that you can look at the "gadgets" of various analyses such as curve/line fitting (regression), peak finding (then fit in Pro), statistics, integration, etc. on the plot. They will work visually and conveniently for your students.

You can try these gadgets by yourself in the evaluation version (pro or non-pro):

Hi Suella,

If you find some essential/helpful functionality of data management/graphing/analytical in your chemistry lab lacking in Origin (as a general-purpose tool), please let us know. I can pass your words to our developers.
