Origin Ver8.0988 and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Operating System: Win7
I got a problem when I use NLfit tool for 3D surface multiple peak fitting. In the OriginLab website below, the last figure shows basically what I expect to get: http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Products/Origin/Graphing/3D&pid=1082
My input data is a matrix from an image file, which contains 6 gaussian peaks that I want to fit, but the Non Linear Surface Fit tool doesn't allow me to change the number of Replica from "Advanced --> Replica" option(it's grey color)....So far I can only fit one Gaussian to this matrix. Any idea what the problem is?
I'd appreciate your help a lot!

Hi Hao,
Surface Fit with Multiple Peaks is a new feature in OriginPro 8.5.1. The only work-around in an older version may be to define a user-defined 3D Gaussian with six term groups, though you may have to manage and control all complications...

Hi Fujii,
My current version is 8.0, that's why it doesn't have that nice capability as demonstrated in the official website...
Thank you anyway, it helps!
