Hi All

I have tried to figure out if it is possible to get the standard LaTeX font in my origin plot. The name of the LaTeX font is Computer Modern Roman. However it does not exists as a font type in origin.

Instead of checking which of all the font types in origin that is most similar to the CMR maybe one of you can tell me?

Best regards
Tom

Any solution to this 5 year issue ? It would be ideal to spare the trouble of printing through Matlab or Python just for the Latex fonts....

Dear Tom Larsen, arapidis, and visitors to this thread,

According to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_Modern#Latin_Modern , the font "Latin Modern" is a
version of Computer Modern, and I found this download site: https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/latin-modern-roman

However, if you want to write math notations in Origin, you can now use the LaTex directly using this app:
http://www.originlab.com/fileExchange/details.aspx?fid=221

Anyway, I have tried to install this font, and used in Origin - a sample is shown below:

Hope this helps.

Hi all,

so I want to do exactly what Tom Larsen wanted too.
I downloaded the .otf font files from Hideo Fujii's link, but cannot find a way to incorporate it into my Origin.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks and best regards,

Hi Howee,

Once you download (and unzip) to get the otf files, you can right-click the file(s), and choose "Install" flyout. That is a way I got
them into my Windows (mine is 7), and consequently usable in Origin.
