Origin 9,0,0 SR1 Windows XP

Hi,

I have been plotting data using categorical mapping and the enhanced legend function. I would however like to change the colour index (i don't like the green which is currently third in the series )

I tried playing with the Enhanced Legend Syntax (http://www.originlab.com/www/helponline/Origin/en/UserGuide/Legends_for_Categorical_Data.html) but could not get it to work, also I do not have a Color Palette option under the Format tab.

Can you help?

Many thanks,

BR/John

The Format : Color Palette reference is outdated and should be removed.
Editing the first 24 colors in the default Origin color list was problematic in earlier versions so it was removed.

Origin version 9.1 will let you use a custom list. Otherwise you would have to use a goofy trick like putting dummy categorical values in the column where that index first appears then delete the references to those values in the legend.
