Want to produce a grouped column plot with several columns linked to the left Y axis and one of the columns in each group linked to right Y axis. Can add layer with column linked to right Y axis but is there a way to get the X (currently a text label) position of that column to look like they're part of the groups?
I'm assuming you have 2 layers. You need to set the linking so that the X axis is set 1 to 1. Select Format:Layer and on the Link Axes Scales tab make sure that layer 2 is linked to layer 1 with the X axis link set to Straight (1 to 1).
You then may need to open the Axis dialog (double-click on the X axis) and make sure that the Scale (from and to) is the same for both layers.
You can prepare your data such that two grouped column plots are made on top of each other with two layers.
1. preapre data, assume x y1 y2 y3 as follows (3 member group)
A B C D E F G x y1 0 y3 0 y2 0
2. Ploat ABCD as column plot 3. Add right Y layer 4. add EFG into 2nd layer, and group them 5. change EFG into column plot and then just setup the plotting details to be what is expected in the empty column in layer 1.
