Dear all,
I am trying to plot an IR spectrum, with the unit of the x-axis being cm^{-1}. Now I want to print this "cm^{-1}" the proper way, that is to say, using the real "minus" symbol (Unicode 2212). Unfortunately, although it is possible to plot this character, I cannot print it superscript. The minus one can plot in Arial, on the other hand, is not a real "minus" but just the "hyphen" symbol.
Is there a better way to print Unicode characters?

Origin Ver. and Service Release: 9.0.0G SR1
Operating System: Windows 64-bit

Kind regards,
Dietmar

It's "cm\+(-1)" instead.

Try this (notice the unicode number wrapped in "\x()":

cm\+(\x(2212)1)
