I have recently installed version 6.1 without updating from version 5 due to a hard drive crash. When I try to view version 5 files that I had backed-up I can only see the window that I had left open, namely all minimsed files do not appear. Is there a fix for this enabling me to view all files?

If I maximise all worksheets/graphs on another computer with version 5 and then transfer them to my own version 6 it seems to work but this is rather laborious. All help welcome,

John

Hi John,

Open the Options dialog from the Tools menu and look at the Open/Close tab. In the Loading Previous Version Projects box your setting is probably Open minimized windows as Hidden. Change it to Open as Minimized (or Prompt).

Good man Mike,

That did it for me and saved me a lot of time, thanks!

John

P.S. Why on earth is the default option for this to hide the previous sheets/graphs rather than minimise them????
