Hi all,

Presently, I am dealing with function fitting under Origin C. However, to use 'NLFit', the minimum Origin version required is 8 SR0 or 8.1 SR0. In the case my code will be run under a different version of Origin, it would be nice to get the version number to treat an eventual exception or to develop an alternative solution in the case the other person uses an older version.

Please, which function to use to get the numerical value of the current Origin version? Or may I also find out which service pack is installed? So far I only know about a similar 'is_pro_version()' function...

Many thanks for your answers in advance!!

You can either use the macro _OC_VER or get the system variable @V.
