Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 2016, b9.3.226
Operating System: Windows 7

I have a simple bar graph that starts with the default y-axis starting at 0, but I want it to start at 1. I can go and rescale the axis in the axis properties. Seems easy, right?

The problem is that then what was the 0 position on the y axis still shows up below the new bottom axis located at 1. I've drawn an arrow to it in the jpg below:

I've tried changing all sorts of settings but I can't find a way to get rid of this extra black line that appears at 0 after rescaling so the graph should only be showing 1-5.

Help!

Please open Axis dialog again.

Choose Grids tab.
On the left, choose Vertical. Uncheck Y=0.

By default this is on so columns started to draw at y=0.

Thanks, Snow

You, my friend, are my hero.

That worked perfectly.

Thanks!
