after drawing that contour map i found it will be better if the axese are exchanged. So i did matrix/transpose, but the matrix appears not transposed, although the map is somewhat changed; then i choose graph/exchange xy, still it's not the right graph, as can be viewed directly. If choose graph/exchange xy at the beginning, it seems only the axese are exchanged, but the map is the seems, i.e., no correlation between the value and the axis....? really strange.
you guys suggest an easier way?

Hi flirt:

This is a bug.

I think you were on the right track. Choosing Matrix:Transpose should turn your matrix on end and rotate your graph, but what should happen -- and didn't -- is that the X and Y graph axis scale values should have followed.

To fix the graph, do your Matrix:Transpose, then...

1. With the matrix active, select Matrix:Set Dimensions.
2. In the Coordinates group, exchange your Last X and Last Y values and click OK.

I think it should appear properly now.

Thank you for reporting this problem. A report has been entered into our bug-tracking database (QA 6677).
