I would like to see if an option can be added to Origin 2017 to display either the old plot menu (text based) or the new menu (icon based). I realize this has already been asked in another thread (http://www.originlab.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22942) but I think this request should be considered again. My office mate also uses the new version of Origin and dislikes the menu.

I am guessing this should not be an extremely difficult option to add considering the structure for the menu was already coded into the 2016 version.

You can turn off and go back to old plot menu by using system variable

@DPPM=1



This requires 2017 SR1 or SR2 though. You can add system variables from the Tools menu.
