how to run a non-linear fit for a user-defined equ

Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 8.5
Operating System:Windows 7
E= U^* T^2/(T-T_∞ )^2 +K_g R (〖T_m^0〗^2-T^2-T_m^0 T)/((T_m^0-T)^2 T)
I have written the equation.
Please tell me the steps I have no mathematical background.
I have values for E and T
I want to calculate U* and Kg, I know values of Tinf and Tm0.
Please help.

Hi,
Please see tutorial on creating a user-defined equation:
http://www.originlab.com/doc/Tutorials/Fitting-NLFit-Basic
You will input U and Kg as parameters since you do not know these values, and input Tinf and Tm0 as constants. Input E as the dependent variable and T as the independent variable.
