Hi! Would I get some help here?
I'm an undergraduate student in physics.
I want to plot some function but didn't well because there were problems to understand "Before Formula Script".



This is a function and variables that I want to plot.
However, 'y' is in "Before formula script" and variables,
function plot didn't work well...

Would I get some help?

That's an implicit function cannot be used to created graphs by "Function Plot". "Before Formula Script" is not to blame.

To created (smooth) 2D implicit function plot, you should apply the contour routine. However, according to your description, the function cannot be plotted correctly. Just tried the fimplicit in MATLAB.

Hi,

When you use 2D function plot to create a graph, you can use "Before Formula Script" to defind some variables and execute scripts before the expression in the formula.
But in the "Before Formula Script", the variable "Y" in is not defined, Origin can not identify what is "Y" and can not know its value.

Or this 2D function is implicit funtion?
