Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 2019 (64-bit) 9.6.0.172
Operating System: Windows

Hey guys,
I'm working in a soil experiment, where we investigate water transport in columns with different layers. Of each layers i have point data of the water content. My task is to find out if it is possible to combine these data (samples were always taken from the same places in each layer) to some kind of 3D-Plot.
Does anyone have an idea where to start?

Thanks for your help!
Robin

Robin,
I suggest you try a 3-D Scatter plot with color mapping. Plot the location of the data samples on the XYZ grid, and map color to the water content. Also, consider mapping data marker size to water content, and experiment with transparency.
The results may be difficult to visualize so you may want to reduce the number of data points by binning.
Dr. Bob.
