Origin Ver. and Service Release 8 sr5(
Operating System: XP

I am very new to Origin, so my apologies if it is obvious.

How do I insert %RH into an axes legend? It is not indexed in the pdf or on-line help. Playing around with the long name, units, comments, properties and programming control completely screwed up the graph - three times.

Thanks

Legend automatically comes from Long Name in column in Origin.
In the graph, legend string were typically %(1) so the % translation has to be enabled for legend, so to protect your % in %RH, you have to use escape code.

Assuming your column long name was

Amount in %RH

then you can change it to

Amount in \v(%)RH

Where \v is the verbatim escape code.

If you are talking about just how to put %RH into X-axis title, then just right-click to choose Programming Control and uncheck the box
